marshall also has a habit of creating and implementing systems that he thinks are best for the game. in the tekken 6 ending, he also implemented the "tag battle" system where players could tag up with a partner and go after another team. this was not implemented in the tekken 5 and tekken 7 games, and was not very popular at all. another system implemented by him was the "block opponent" system. this system allows players to block an opponent's attacks with their own and even their partner's attacks. this could be seen in the tekken 7 ending where it's shown that marshall was able to block a move with a double-handed punch from an opponent, and that it was incredibly hard to do so. he also implemented the "damage wave" system. in tekken 7, players could activate this system whenever they lost a match. when activated, the damage wave would slowly fill up the screen, while the meter would slowly fill up. once it reached 100%, and the player was low on health, the damage would start to hit, and the screen would fill up with red. during this period, the player would not be able to do anything. after the damage wave was over, the screen would be back to normal. 3d9ccd7d82
