Trying to install optifine for MC 1.8.1 actually. It seems to have installed fine, but if I use the new profile/version it created. . The bottom right says "welcome, player ready to update &play mc 1.8.1-opthduc7"
I have a big problem where. For me it does the exact opposite. You see my minecraft runs extremely good FPS - 80-100 but when I install optifine my FPS is good for like 2 seconds and then there is a MAJOR lag spike where everything just stops and slows down, I get about 1FPS Someone please tell me whats wrong
To obtain optifine, go to the downloads pageand download the version which corresponds to the minecraft version you areusing. If you are running a version which is more recent, you might have to trya Preview version of optifine. In my experience, the previews have workedwithout issue.
With the shader package in place, we should be able to enable it in the game.Fire up minecraft (using the optifine install), and select Options, then VideoSettings. From there, you should now see a newly available Shaders option.Click it to open up the shaders menu. 59ce067264
