Delphi 6 Personal Serial Number Key
i've been building against delphi 7 for a while now, but i'm finally going to have to build in delphi 6. i'm not very excited about it, but i guess it will be a learning experience. what's the best way to install delphi 6 i don't have borland's website on hand.
i feel the same way about the delphi menu. i'm a pretty big guy (6'4" and 225), so that could be part of it. i have been using delphi since version 3.1 and i love it. i feel like i've got to go back to something else though.
there are so many little things that i dont like about delphi 6. i can only guess that all these are things that i don't like that borland did not even consider when they added them to delphi 7. i'm not looking for anyone to do my work for me, i just want to know what i'm missing and if there is a good reason for all the changes.
i think the most annoying thing is that they changed the way they use the icon. in delphi 7, you right click on the icon and a pop-up menu comes up. in delphi 6, you click on the icon and a dialog box comes up. i used to type delphi 6 and it would automatically change it to delphi 7. i'm just wondering why they didn't do the same for delphi 7.
over the past few months i've had to purge the registry entries for the various versions of delphi on my machine. they've been in various subfolders. here is what you need to know: i had to purge the old version of delphi from the "program files". i've done this by going to the "control panel", selecting the "programs" button, and then selecting delphi 6. then right clicking on delphi 6, selecting "uninstall". i then went to the "program files" folder and deleted the folders "delphi.bpl", "delphi.bpi", and "delphi.bpj". this didn't purge the files, but should do the trick. i also deleted the entire "bin" folder in the "program files" folder. 3d9ccd7d82
