Now that the V3 Google Translate API keys are configured, you will need to create the program in Java that will interact with Google Translate API. This program is pretty simple. It will import the keys you created, and then it will call Google Translate API via these keys. The rest of the program is pretty simple as well. Simply copy and paste the following code:
The response of validating your API key will confirm the success of creating the API key for the V3 Google Translate API. Now that you have created the API key, you will be able to continue with the rest of the steps.
The next step is to save the Google Translate API JSON file that you created earlier. To do this, navigate to the Google API console > Google Translate API. After you click on the three dots (...) button in the upper right of the page, you will be able to add the JSON file that you created earlier. Now you can simply double click on the JSON file in the left-hand menu. In the JSON file, you will be able to see the three different API keys that you have just created.
The first step is to log into the Google API console (app.console.apis.google.com). The second step is to click on Project Settings > API Access. Finally, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on API key settings.
In the API access settings, you will have the option to add a new API key. You simply have to enter the API key and click on Generate. If you are an API developer, you will have the option to regenerate an API key for the service that you are using. If you are already an API developer and you want to upgrade your API key, you will have to go to the Advanced tab and click on the Copy API key button.
With that complete we can put some content into the new web part and export as a webpart. The result is a webpart with the Google translate API working for us as a webpart. You can now publish that to any page in your site and it will start translating the content as soon as the page loads. This is a basic, but when more complex translations are required then we can upgrade to using the V2 API.
When you use the Google Translate API, you are effectively using Google's translation service to translate your product information. You can select a variety of supported languages and the Google Translate service will return the translated text in that language. You can also set a custom language in which you want the service to translate.
